Juanjo Munera

Finished his studies at the Conservatory of Music "Joaquin Rodrigo" of Valencia obtaining the final degree award and honor mentions. Later on he joined the "European Higher Institute Bandistico of Trent" (ISEB ) of Italy with Steven Mead, professor of the "Northem Royal Collage of Music" from Manchester (England ).

He was a member of the "European Union Youth Wind Orchestra" and "Worldwide Wind Orchestra" directed by Jan Cover and Christian Lindberg respectively.

He has performed with prestigious groups as the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia, Orquesta Sinfónica de Radio Televisión Española (RTVE) and Orquesta Sinfónica de Valencia among others, as well as the Bands Municipal de Barcelona, ​​Sevilla and Albacete .

From 1999 to 2005 he was partner in the Banda Municipal de Madrid. He has participated as a teacher and soloist in various Festivals International Music, highlighting the I Seminar Euphonium National Movement Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra "FESNOJIV" (Venezuela), "International Festival for instrumentalists composers and directors" of Tatuí (Brazil), "Bands to Melico" in San José ( Costa Rica ) or the "International Tuba Euphonium Conference & 2012" (ITEC) held in Linz ( Austria) and Festival Internacional de Tuba y Bombardino (AETYB) 2014 and 2016 at Barcelona and Valencia (Spain).

In 2012 introduced his music video " Egyptian Feet" and his first job record "Spainphonic " , which mix styles as diverse as Flamenco, Latin Jazz and Funky.


"Two Friends" is the first digital album released by the label Electroscene wherein the Euphonium leans on Chillout by electronic music, published in August 2013 in different platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, Beat Port and Amazon.

He has taught at the National Academy of Euphonium in Caracas ( Venezuela ) . He is currently Euphonium Soloist in Banda Municipal de Bilbao and professor at the Academy of Euphonium "Vicente Costa" Valencia.
