Escenaris 2026: a young perspective on the performing arts

Second-year students of the Higher Vocational Training Program (CFGS) in Photography at the Tarragona Provincial Council’s School of Art and Design present Scenarios 2026, a large-format photographic exhibition project that documents the world of the performing arts from within.

This work has been developed within the framework of a documentary project linked to the official programme of Teatre Tarragona, which includes a range of disciplines such as circus, dance, symphonic music, opera, and theatre. Thanks to the collaboration with Tarragona City Council, students were granted access to the theatre spaces during the stages of setup, rehearsal, and performance of the different productions, allowing them to capture images in a real context.

The result is a photographic perspective that highlights both the stage and everything that happens behind the curtain, building a rich and diverse visual narrative about contemporary performing arts.

The exhibition can be visited in the lobby of Teatre Tarragona from April 9 to May 9. The opening will take place on Thursday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m.
