Course Objectives and Basic Information
Through the study of tools and materials, and the expressive potential of various printmaking and engraving techniques, this course explores their visual possibilities and applications. Technical learning and observational skills enable participants to produce precise prints and editions. The course offers an introduction to contemporary printmaking and its relationship with painting and other related visual disciplines. This monographic course covers all the essential concepts of printmaking: line, blot, drawing, space, composition, image reversal, negative and positive... as well as basic knowledge of bookbinding.

Beginner Printmaking:
