EADR welcomes teaching and administrative staff from partner institutions for short-term stays under the Erasmus+ programme. These stays offer the opportunity to:

  • Exchange of good practices: share teaching experiences and innovative methodologies in the field of arts and design.

  • Strengthening professional networks: establish contacts with other institutions and sector professionals, fostering future collaborations.

  • Professional development: contribute to improving pedagogical and administrative skills through active participation in training activities and work sessions.

Our goal is to provide an enriching environment where teaching, applied research, and educational management can grow together, enhancing both academic quality and the international experience of visiting teaching and administrative staff.

Staff mobility for teaching

Visiting staff can apply for an Erasmus+ teaching mobility grant through their home institution. Teaching activities must take place under the framework of an active Erasmus+ bilateral agreement with EADR. It is recommended to contact the International Office of the home institution to verify the existence of an active agreement or to explore the possibility of establishing a new one.

Teaching periods usually vary between 2 and 60 days, with a minimum of 8 teaching hours per week. In practice, most visits last approximately 5 days, allowing for a full week of teaching or collaborative activities.

The Erasmus+ grant covers travel and daily subsistence expenses according to the rules of the respective national agency. Applications must be processed through the home institution and coordinated with the International Office.

This programme offers teaching staff the opportunity to share knowledge, teaching experiences, and innovative methodologies, while strengthening international cooperation and EADR’s academic network.

Staff mobility for training

EADR offers training visits for teaching, technical, and administrative staff to acquire new skills and share good practices.

Training formats:

  • Job shadowing

  • Practical workshops and seminars

  • Short intensive courses

  • Internal process review

  • Project collaboration adapted to the visitor’s profile

Duration: approximately 5 working days
Planning: all activities and objectives are agreed upon in advance with the home institution

This programme facilitates practical training, methodology exchange, and the strengthening of international networks within the arts and design sector.

How to apply for mobility

  1. Check eligibility: ensure there is an active Erasmus+ bilateral agreement between EADR and your institution. If in doubt, contact the International Offices of both institutions.

  2. Propose an activity plan (Mobility Agreement): define objectives, dates, and a brief description of the teaching or training activities to be carried out.

  3. Coordinate dates: align the visit with the EADR academic calendar and ongoing classes or workshops.

  4. Funding: submit the grant application through the home institution, following the regulations of the respective national agency.

  5. After the visit: EADR issues a Certificate of Attendance and participants must complete the final report required by the Erasmus+ programme.

This process ensures clear planning, effective integration into academic activities, and proper management of Erasmus+ support and funding.
