You may apply for a scholarship if, in the 2026–2027 academic year, you plan to study any of the non-university programs listed above. You are not eligible if you are repeating a year or if you already hold a qualification at the same or higher level than the studies for which you are applying.
Submit your application from 8:00 a.m. on April 7, 2026, to 3:00 p.m. on May 18, 2026. Apply as early as possible!
These scholarships are for students in post-compulsory education and are awarded by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports.
Even if you do not yet know what you will study, where you will study, or what grades you will achieve, apply for the scholarship provisionally. You will be able to update your details later.
What studies are considered post-compulsory?
Students enrolled in the 2025–2026 academic year in post-compulsory or higher non-university education:
First and second year of upper secondary education (Baccalaureate)
Intermediate and advanced vocational training cycles
Professional artistic education
Sports education
Higher artistic education
Higher religious studies
Language studies in official language schools (including distance learning)
Access courses and preparatory courses for entrance exams to vocational training, as well as specific access courses to intermediate and advanced cycles taught in public and private institutions
Basic vocational training cycles

TARRAGONA PROVINCIAL COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIPS, ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/26
The Tarragona Provincial Council offers individual scholarships for students of the School, aimed at facilitating the pursuit of artistic studies.
Eligible expenses include amounts paid for tuition fees of higher-level vocational training cycles in the offered specializations, excluding final projects.
The scholarship amount corresponds to the percentage applicable to each module/subject/training unit, as established by the fiscal ordinance regulating the fees of the Tarragona Provincial Council — Fee for the provision of artistic education services delivered at the Schools of Art and Design, applicable to each academic year.
1. Purpose and objective of the grant
The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of financial aid, through individual scholarships, aimed at official students of the Schools of Art and Design of the Tarragona Provincial Council, to facilitate the pursuit of artistic studies for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The granting of these scholarships is governed by the provisions included in this call, given their specificity and singularity.
This call is part of the 2023–2027 Strategic Subsidy Plan of the Tarragona Provincial Council and its autonomous bodies, within Axis 2 – Socioeconomic Model, Strategic Line 4 “Transformative Culture,” contributing to retaining artistic talent and making education a driver of social change and collective well-being.
Its aim is to promote student attendance in artistic education provided by the Schools of Art and Design of the Tarragona Provincial Council, thereby fostering artistic training and cultural development in the Tarragona area.
2. Funded activities
The funded activities are the amounts paid for public tuition fees (academic year 2025–2026) of Higher-Level Vocational Training Cycles in artistic education taught at the Schools of Art and Design of the Provincial Council in Tarragona and Reus.
Non-regulated study programs are excluded.
The scholarship will be granted for enrollment in a single training cycle. It will not be granted for second enrollments in training cycles undertaken simultaneously.
3. Eligibility requirements
General requirements:
Beneficiaries must be enrolled in Higher-Level Vocational Training Cycles at the Schools of Art and Design of the Tarragona Provincial Council (excluding non-regulated programs) in the 2025–2026 academic year.
Applicants must have paid the full tuition fee for the academic year for which the scholarship is requested.
Beneficiaries must have achieved an average grade of at least 5 in the previous academic year.
Applicants must meet the general requirements established in Article 13.2 of Law 38/2003 of November 17, General Subsidies Law, and Base 7 of the General Subsidy Rules of the Tarragona Provincial Council.
Failure to meet any of these requirements will result in rejection of the application.

The household income and assets of the family unit for the 2025–2026 academic year must not exceed the maximum thresholds established by Royal Decree 163/2025 of March 4.

From the eighth member onwards, €3,740 is added for each additional member.
Failure to meet this requirement will result in rejection.
The applicant may authorize the Provincial Council to verify income data through the Tax Agency.
Otherwise, supporting documentation must be provided.
4. Competitive procedure
This call is processed under a competitive selection procedure.
Authority for approval lies with the President of the Provincial Council, delegated to the Government Board.
5. Application procedure
- Complete the application through the electronic office (only one application per training cycle) and attach the required documentation.
If the student is enrolling in the center for the first time:
Official academic certificate showing grades and average mark.

Or through any method established in Law 39/2015.
Submission implies acceptance of all conditions.
- After the award decision, applicants must complete the “Tax and bank details communication” procedure.
The Provincial Council may verify tax and social security compliance.
6. Application deadline

7. Evaluation criteria
Only academic performance is considered.
Average grade — Tuition coverage:
5–6 → 85%
6.01–7 → 90%
7.01–8.50 → 95%
8.51–10 → 100%
8. Scholarship amount
Equivalent to the applicable percentage of each module/subject according to current regulations.

Maximum amount: €70,000
Allocated according to ranking until funds are exhausted.

14. Revocation
If beneficiaries withdraw from studies, they must repay the scholarship.
15. Compatibility
These scholarships are incompatible with other grants for the same purpose awarded by other entities.
