Commitment to internationalisation and educational mobility
The School of Art and Design of the Provincial Council in Reus (EADR) considers internationalisation a key element to strengthening the quality of its programmes and expanding training opportunities for students and staff. Through the Erasmus+ programme, the school fosters openness to new methodologies, collaboration with European institutions, and participation in experiences that enrich educational pathways.
Strategy
EADR leverages the different actions of the Erasmus+ programme to boost the mobility of students and staff, as well as to establish cooperation relationships with European art and design institutions. The school aims to:
Facilitate mobility of higher vocational education students for both studies and traineeships.
Offer international training and teaching opportunities to teaching staff.
Participate in European projects that promote pedagogical innovation and the development of new tools and methodologies.
Objectives
Objective 1: Gradually increase the participation of students in Erasmus+ mobilities to reach 5% of students involved in studies or traineeships in the coming years.
Objective 2: Promote mobility among teaching and administrative staff so that at least 5% of staff participate annually in training or teaching activities in European institutions.
Objective 3: Strengthen participation in European innovation projects through partnerships and alliances, with the goal of developing three projects during the established period.
Impact
Active participation in Erasmus+ will:
Enhance the academic and professional experience of students and staff.
Strengthen EADR’s international projection and its connections with other art and design training centres.
Update teaching content and methods through the exchange of practices and European perspectives.
Indicators
Objective 1: Increase student mobility until 2% participate in study or traineeship mobilities.
Objective 2: Ensure that 3% of staff (2 people per year) participate annually in Erasmus+ mobilities for teaching or training.
Objective 3: Develop innovation projects within the framework of Partnerships for Innovation and Alliances for Innovation.

EADR’s Erasmus+ project is structured around five lines of action. Four correspond to mobility (KA-01) and one to cooperation projects (KA-02).

Action 4: Mobility for teaching. Teaching staff may deliver classes at European institutions, adapting content to the needs of the host organisation and sharing expertise in design, art, or creative technologies.
Objective 3: Innovation promotion
Action 5: Participation in international cooperation projects to foster innovative practices, exchange experiences, and develop new educational methodologies within the KA2 framework.
ECTS credit system
EADR follows the credit system established in the Bologna Process for recognising studies and traineeships completed abroad. Each credit is based on the student’s total workload, including attendance, projects, and assessments. Credits are recognised through the Learning Agreement and the Recognition Sheet.
Selection processes
EADR guarantees transparent, equal, and accessible selection procedures. All criteria and requirements are published on the school’s website, ensuring that no form of discrimination takes place. Procedures are reviewed periodically to correct potential biases and ensure equal opportunities.
