Outgoing Students
Study and traineeship stays in European institutions under the Erasmus+ programme
Study abroad with Erasmus+
The School of Art and Design of Tarragona actively participates in the Erasmus+ programme with the aim of offering its students the opportunity to experience academic and personal growth in another European country. Through this programme, students can carry out part of their studies or a traineeship in foreign institutions and companies with which EADT has established collaboration agreements.
Mobility for studies
Erasmus+ study mobility allows students to complete one academic semester at another European higher education institution with which EADT maintains a valid bilateral agreement. During the stay, the student is exempt from paying tuition fees at the host institution and receives academic recognition for the studies completed, according to their Learning Agreement.
The Erasmus+ grant is a complementary financial aid intended to partially cover travel and accommodation expenses. The monthly amount varies depending on the destination country and the scales established by the National Agency SEPIE. Students who receive a grant from the Ministry of Education may obtain additional support.

Mobility for traineeships
Erasmus+ traineeship mobility allows students to undertake a training stay in companies, studios, or cultural institutions in another European country. The traineeship must be related to the student’s programme and recognised in their academic record.
The minimum duration is 2 months and the maximum is 12 months for each training cycle. Tasks, objectives, and conditions are agreed in advance through a Learning Agreement for Traineeships, and monitored by a supervisor at the company and a tutor at EADT.
Financial support
Erasmus+ grants are calculated according to the official tables of the European Commission and SEPIE. The grant partially covers travel and living expenses and may vary depending on the destination country’s cost of living. Students who received a general grant in the previous academic year are eligible for additional support. There is also specific funding for students with disabilities or special needs.
How to participate
This year, EAD Tarragona will publish an official Erasmus+ grant call detailing deadlines, requirements, and selection criteria.
