The Gaudí Centre is located in the city of Reus, in the well-known Plaça Mercadal.

It is the tribute that Gaudí’s hometown dedicates to its most universal son. A museum that interprets the life and work of this artist.

The objective of the project is to reorganize and redesign different floors of the building, offering various activities and services such as a café, a more comfortable and functional ticket sales and information area, and a shop providing the most typical and cultural local products and foods of the city.

The main idea of my project is to remove everything that rests against the glass perimeter wall, with the aim of making the most of the natural light and avoiding any obstacle that could block the view into the interior. In this way, I also manage to create a flow between Plaça Mercadal and the Gaudí Box, making it feel as though both form a single unified space.
