Once again, we design and install the school’s Christmas display with first-year PIDOD and Ephemeral Architecture students.

Once again, the School of Art and Design of the Provincial Council in Reus has entrusted first-year PIDOD and Ephemeral Architecture students with designing and installing the school’s Christmas display. This is a conceptual project developed in three phases: on the first level, numerous matchsticks are arranged in an apparently random order; on the second, these forms begin to take shape; and on the third, the letters forming the school’s acronym are depicted, while at the bottom a red cut vinyl conveys the message: “every spark counts”.

This concept has also been applied to the design of the Christmas card, maintaining visual and conceptual coherence throughout the project. The initiative encourages collaboration among students, who work in groups to generate multiple proposals, select one collectively, develop the final design, and actively participate in the installation process.

The result is a display that combines creativity, planning, and teamwork, where each student contributes to bringing the idea to life and realizing an exhibition project that reflects the identity and values of the school.
