The School of Art and Design of the Provincial Council in Reus is participating in the exhibition “Fem Art. A journey through the creations of art schools in Catalonia”, a collective show featuring a selection of final projects by students from intermediate and higher vocational training programmes across the region.

Organised by the Department of Education and Vocational Training with the support of the Palo Alto Foundation, the exhibition runs from May 2 to 29 at the Escoleta hall in Palo Alto. It brings together original and previously unseen works from a range of disciplines including photography, fashion, ceramics, jewellery, painting, and sculpture, highlighting the importance of art and design in today’s society as well as their career opportunities.

In this context, the School of Art and Design of the Provincial Council in Reus is represented by the work of second-year students from the Video Games and Virtual Environments programme (academic year 2024–2025). The selected project, entitled Palette of Memories, is a final project that showcases the students’ creative and technical potential in the field of new digital languages.

Participation in this exhibition provides visibility to the centre’s emerging talent and positions art and design studies as a relevant educational pathway within contemporary creative industries.

“Fem Art” thus becomes a showcase of the work carried out in art and design schools across Catalonia and an opportunity to discover the next generation of creators.
