  • Publicat: 13/05/2026

The School of Art and Design of the Provincial Council in Reus is participating in a new edition of the Habitàcola Awards, a student competition that promotes creativity, social commitment, and professional rigor, while fostering new approaches and emerging talent in the fields of design and architecture.

The school’s participation is structured transversally within the Professional Project Management course, encouraging collaborative work across different specialisations. In this context, students from Interior Design, Ephemeral Architecture, and Audiovisual Graphics and 3D Infographics work together in interdisciplinary teams, replicating real-world professional dynamics.

This methodology allows students to address the competition challenge from multiple perspectives, integrating spatial design, temporary construction, and visual communication into a cohesive and comprehensive proposal. Working in interdisciplinary teams strengthens key skills such as coordination, decision-making, and the ability to tackle real projects with a holistic vision.

This year’s theme invites reflection on the relationship between the city, infrastructure, and the natural environment, focusing on the design of public-use furniture and lookout elements located in areas with privileged views. The proposals explore both permanent and temporary solutions aimed at improving interaction with the natural environment through sustainability and resilience.

Through this participation, the School of Art and Design of the Provincial Council in Reus reinforces its pedagogical model based on practical learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and engagement with real contemporary societal challenges.
