The School of Art and Design of the Provincial Council in Reus takes part once again in Temps de Flors Girona with two ephemeral installations

  • Publicat: 13/05/2026

The School of Art and Design of the Provincial Council in Reus is once again participating in Temps de Flors Girona, one of the most prominent cultural events of the year, presenting two ephemeral installations created by its students.

In this edition, the school is represented by the projects Suspended Fragility and Extended Memories, both developed by second-year students from the Ephemeral Architecture programme. The installations explore, through contemporary approaches, the relationship between space, matter, and emotion, inviting visitors to engage in a sensory experience linked to the perception of time and memory.

Participation in Temps de Flors is integrated into the students’ learning process, allowing them to work in a real-world context with the specific conditions of a public event. This type of experience enables students to apply technical and creative knowledge while developing key skills such as teamwork, conceptual thinking, and project execution in specific spaces.

With this new participation, the School of Art and Design of the Provincial Council in Reus strengthens its connection with the territory and with leading cultural events, while showcasing the emerging talent of its students in the field of ephemeral architecture.
