The event took place last Tuesday afternoon at the Diputació Auditorium and brought together students who graduated last year, teachers and collaborating companies.

The School of Art and Design of the Provincial Council in Tarragona held the first edition of “Llindar/s”, a gathering to recognize the 93 students who completed their higher education cycle last academic year.

The event, which took place yesterday Tuesday at the Diputació Auditorium, celebrated the vitality of the school, with the aim of making visible and highlighting the work carried out in the Higher Vocational Training Programs offered at the centre.

The deputy for artistic education of the Provincial Council of Tarragona, Josep Baiges, and the director of EADTarragona, Marcel Blàzquez, welcomed the attendees and highlighted the talent developed in the classrooms of the EADT, stressing the importance of crossing thresholds between disciplines, between the educational and professional worlds, and between the different stages of a personal trajectory. Afterwards, the floor was given to the students of EADTarragona, the true protagonists of the celebration.

The students presented a selection of final projects from the jewellery, illustration, painting, interactive graphics, photography, advertising graphics and animation programs. The showcase, presented by the students themselves, made it possible to understand the process, concept and outcome of the projects developed as the culmination of their studies.

The Llindar/s event also aimed to express gratitude and recognition to the companies and professionals who collaborate in the day-to-day training of the students, whether by offering professional placements in their companies or by conducting workshops, talks, lectures and sessions to bring professional or artistic experience into the classroom.

Accompanied by music from Bandarra Street Orkestra, the celebration provided a great opportunity to bring together current and former students, teachers, companies from the sector, professionals and representatives from the artistic and cultural fields connected with the school.
