Incoming staff teaching and training
Opportunities for visiting lecturers and administrative staff under the Erasmus+ programme.
EAD Tarragona welcomes academic and administrative staff from partner institutions for short stays under the Erasmus+ programme. Our goal is simple: share good practice, strengthen networks, and add value to teaching and professional development in art and design.
Staff Mobility for Teaching
Visiting lecturers may apply for an Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching grant through their home institution. Teaching activities must take place within the framework of an existing bilateral Erasmus+ agreement with EAD Tarragona. Please check with your International Office if such an agreement is already in place or if a new one can be established.
Teaching periods usually range from 2 to 60 days, with a minimum of 8 teaching hours per week. In practice, most visits last around 5 days, allowing for one week of teaching or collaborative activity. The Erasmus+ grant covers travel and daily subsistence costs according to your national agency’s rules. Applications must be submitted via your home institution and coordinated with the EADT International Office.
Staff Mobility for Training
We host training visits for academic, technical and administrative staff. Formats include job shadowing, workshops, short courses, process reviews, and project-based collaboration tailored to your role. Training typically take place over 5 working days. All activities and expected outcomes are agreed in advance between both institutions.
How to Apply
- Check eligibility: confirm that a bilateral Erasmus+ agreement exists between EADT and your institution. If unsure, contact both International Offices.
- Propose an activity plan (Mobility Agreement): define objectives, dates, and a short description of teaching or training activities.
- Coordinate dates: align your visit with our academic calendar and ongoing classes or workshops.
- Funding: submit your grant request through your home institution following national agency rules.
- After the visit: EADT provides a Certificate of Attendance; participants complete the required final report.
